Put it down, put it down
Leave them out, let them drown
The insecurities in your head
Let them rest, put them to bed
Constant reminders result in negativity
Self disrespect holds you in captivity
Now its time to set them free
Just let it go and leave it be
Cast your eyes towards the sky
Presently bad thoughts will die
Weary spirits will soar anew
Ask for help, and soon pull through
Look to your side and know he’s there
The one who died will always care
God created something amazing
and he can help you through the things you’re facing
So put them down, set aside for good
all the bad thoughts, thinking you’re misunderstood
no matter how hard it may be
let them go, let God set you free
..
No More Negativity

“Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
God made each and every one of us to be unique and special. You are in this world for a purpose, He doesn’t want you to hate yourself or be full of self loathing. Being negative does nothing to build yourself or others up. Being negative is simply feeling bad for your self and being displeased with the life you are living. It is so easy to complain and point out our flaws and such, but honestly, those things do not matter in the end. In the end, Jesus looks at your heart and how you’ve lived your life – your attitude towards others in all circumstances, including your self. “And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD…” – Numbers 11:1
Jesus will help us through whatever we face in life, and he gives us the best advice ever… This verse is my favourite Bible verse because it just reminds us so simply of how God wants us to live “Always be joyful, never stop praying, and give thanks in all cirucmstances.” – 1 Thess 5:16 – 18
So next time your having a bad day, don’t complain, instead remember that you are loved by someone who died to know you. (Romans 5:8) And you are AWESOME 🙂
The only way God can show us He is in control, is to put us in situations we can’t control.
